The Community Care department is looking for a highly motivated person to join the In Home Support team located in Springvale. The position is primarily responsible for providing backfill support for a team of rostering and administrative support officers. Community Care provides support services to people who are frail, aged or have a disability, to enable them to live independently in the community.
This position will work collaboratively with a team of Support Officers to coordinate, assign and match Community Care Workers to clients within established frameworks. Daily communication with Community Care Workers on matters associated to rostering is a primary function of the role.
The applicant will have a Certificate III or IV in Administration related field or equivalent experience, in addition to advanced proficiency in the use of relevant software applications associated to rostering.
Applicants must adequately meet the requirements of the role and fully address the selection criteria contained in the position description.
In accordance with government or Council requirements, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate evidence of an approved COVID-19 vaccination or an authorised medical exemption.
You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
