Position Description
Provides administrative support for the Junction City Golf Courset. Employee performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, secretarial and administrative work through the use of computers and other technology. Ensures the effective and efficient operations of the Golf Course office by providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This position maintains a high level of confidentiality with all work materials. Major Areas of Responsibility

Reviews, proofreads and edits documents. Composes letters and other memoranda requested by Golf Superintendent.
Maintains and orders office supplies.
Interacts with citizens on a variety of levels, including receiving citizen complaints and ensuring the complaints are given to the appropriate person in the department to handle. Will conduct any follow-up that is needed.
Establishes, complies and maintains various filing and records for the department.
Schedule meetings and interviews.
Responsible for upkeep of copy machines, fax machine and other office equipment
Produces a variety of documents, charts, spreadsheets and graphs in final form.
Coordinates, facilitates and updates departmental calendars.
Coordinates travel arrangements when necessary and prepares trip itineraries.
Process highly confidential information, maintaining and respecting confidentiality.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Requirements
Graduation from a High School or GED equivalent, and
Two (2) years of related experience; or
Any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
Working knowledge of: the principles and practices of modern public administration; and modern records management techniques;
Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment;
Ability to: accurately record and maintain records; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public; and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Maintaining good communication and working relationships with patrons, other City departments and co-workers.
