Full Job Description

The City of Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation department is seeking applications for Building Monitors. This position is part-time and will be responsible for the supervision of City buildings, directing and assisting patrons, assisting instructors/presenters with equipment needs, light cleaning of equipment and rooms, and activity room setups.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supervision of buildings
  • Directing and assisting patrons
  • Assisting instructors/presenters with equipment needs
  • Light cleaning of equipment and rooms
  • Activity room setup

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Must be available to work day, evening, and weekend hours
  • Position subject to an annual background check
