Our client, a Washington DC bookstore, is seeking a Human Resource professional. The HR Manager will help further build exceptional teams and commitment to the values of independence, inclusion, and diversity.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position. The HR Manager will lead and direct all the HR functions across the bookstore including talent recruitment, benefits management, performance management, and training.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. A minimum of three years of experience in human resource management is required. Experience in the retail and bookseller industry is preferred.
