Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
Answer employee questions regarding benefits policies.
Responsible for administration of the Short-Term Disability and FMLA process.
Answers general employee questions and concerns.
Maintain positive employee relations.
Partners with the Human Resources Manager to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Participates in the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
Participate in recruiting and open house events
Assists with the on-boarding process
Participates in all other cross functional areas of HR
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis in benefits administration.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of HRMS systems.
Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, facilitation and problem- solving skills.
Must have thorough knowledge of employment laws.
