CMS Hiring For Junior Software Engineer IRES – SAFB at Colorado Springs, CO Full Time

Description of Duties:

The Junior Software Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Support the Ballistic Missile Defense System Support (BMDSS) organization at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever AFB.
• Be responsible for performing activities focused on the configuration and operation of a wide range of test stimulus and monitoring tools, to include a major Linux-based simulation system and various tactical message injection and monitoring systems (both Windows and UNIX based).
• Develop software libraries and tools to support message recording, playback and data manipulation, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Be responsible for feeding data to various test bed Lab Suites in support of lab checkouts and mission event support.

Primary duty hours fall within core support hours of 0800-1600, Monday – Friday as scheduled, but will periodically work night, weekend and extended hours as dictated by a team rotating schedule to support customer requirements, troubleshooting, testing, and event support.

This position will be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO

This position is expected to pay $67,800 – $108,450 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
