Job Summary
- Operates drill rigs and drilling equipment for highway, construction, and wall stabilization drilling and blasting projects in Alaska.
Main Responsibilities
- GPS equipped Sandvik DX700 and DX 800 top hammer drill rigs, John Henry excavator mounted drill rigs
- Complete drill logs and provide support to blasting crew
- Preform daily equipment checks and basic drill maintenance
- Apply safety practices and guidelines associated with the project and drilling activities including the wearing of personal protective equipment
- Carries out work based on precise directives from their hierarchy.
Education
- Professional Certifications
- Prefer minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a driller
