Full Job Description
Primary HR Specialist Responsibilities:

- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees utilizing UKG/KRONOS
- Serve as point of contact for payroll and benefits for employees
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and new employee orientation process.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation, tracking, and record keeping.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and employee relations events
- Participate in helping facilitate new employee orientations and update records of new staff.
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors in our UKG/KRONOS system
- Cross functional role for Payroll and Benefits
- Composure and confidentiality required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues
- Administrative duties, including upkeep of employee records (attendance, EEO data, FMLA, STD, etc.)
- Compliance with all policies and legal requirements
- Perceptive nature, detailed and careful monitoring of working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Additional duties as assigned by HR Manager
Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience in Manufacturing – Multi-Shift Facilities
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability of all Microsoft Teams Platforms – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to accurately follow instructions
- Experience with Kronos and UltiPro-UKG preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams required
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required
Salary:
- HR Specialist is a Salary Non -Exempt role. Schedule options – Monday – Friday 7 am – 5pm. Salary is commensurate with experience.
