The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking an experienced, dependable and highly motivated administrative support professional to join our team in the Bureau of Hatcheries.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides critical services to support and assist with maintaining the effective and efficient operations within the Bureau of Hatcheries (BOH) by assisting the Administrative Officer (AO) and the Chief of Fish Production Services (FPS). The person in this position is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties including but not limited to assisting with budget tracking, purchasing, and miscellaneous office services. The person in this position will coordinate the stocking activities for all bureaus. This person will provide clerical and office support to the Chief and staff of Fish Production Services.
Essential Functions:
Plans and organizes work assignments.
Interprets and applies administrative policies, practices and procedures.
Utilize electronic technology including FAX, & personal computer, and uses computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & SAP.
Establishes and maintains harmonious and effective working relationships with staff.
Sits for extended periods.
Maintains a working knowledge of program goals, objectives, and administrative operations.
Coordinates Fish Management, Law Enforcement, and Hatcheries roles in the fish stocking program.
Expresses ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday – Friday; 30-minute lunch
Telework: This position is part-time telework eligible. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the Centre Regional Office located in Bellefonte, PA..

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
