The Director, Talent Acquisition will lead the overall design of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to deliver the right talent to support the growth and diversification of Community Based Care (CBC) across multiple regions. They will be responsible for creating an outstanding candidate experience, as well as inspiring and guiding the talent acquisition team. This role is looked to as a partner and a change leader by hiring managers and the HR team. It provides the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across the company and to play a significant role in the future growth of the organization.
The Director of Talent Acquisition will build upon a strong team supporting the recruiting and hiring from entry level to mid-level, clinical to non-clinical. As an experienced subject matter expert supporting a high volume environment, they will drive and deliver strategies, implement best practices and focus on innovation to support the current and future needs of the organization.
General Functions and Outcomes
Create the next generation of CBC’s talent acquisition strategy in support of business hiring objectives, applying both best practices and industry-leading “next practices”
Drive the talent acquisition strategy through full-cycle recruitment efforts and team coaching and support
Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
Establish and maintain consistent and regular means of providing connections between the talent acquisition team, HR business partners and business leaders
Define and measure key performance metrics and dashboards both to showcase the effectiveness of the function and reveal opportunities to fine-tune the strategy and approach
Support a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace through specific actions by the talent acquisition team and hiring managers
Work with senior leadership to define CBC’s employment brand across all regions, showcasing the value and differentiation of the company and employees in the talent market
Identify and partner with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met
Guide recruiting programs, processes and infrastructure to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations and outstanding candidate experience, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and reporting regulations
Minimum Requirements, Competencies and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Expert-level working knowledge of principles, practices, and operations in talent acquisition as normally obtained through a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience, including a minimum of two years management level experience within a healthcare system setting or large multi-operational, complex corporate environment.
Significant prior experience as a people manager and change agent
Demonstrated experience introducing innovative recruiting strategies
Knowledge of and experience working with and implementing current talent acquisition technology applications
Skilled in the interpretation and application of talent analytics
Prior experience and commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Work Environment
No unusual working conditions.
Work may be performed in a combination of a home office and a Community Based Care office environment.
Travel required, locally and out of state.
