General Summary: The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for the management of member behavior in an inpatient facility and working with the treatment team to provide a therapeutic milieu for the members. The BHT will provide counseling and crisis response services, ensure members are safe, are encouraged to engage in services, and are provided a clean environment while in the facility addressing the members’ ongoing needs. The BHT contributes to the overall culture of safety. The BHT is responsible for encountering services within the Electronic Health Record.
