Job Title: .NET Developer

Job description:

We are the in-house marketing arm of one of the nation’s leading automotive groups. As a marketing agency we offer advertising services through various mediums; from traditional TV & radio spots to digital advertising outlets like Facebook, Google 360 Display, email marketing, etc. As an advertising agency of this capacity, we have developed custom web APIs and data-delivery tools. These tools ingest and store data in SQL Servers, extract the data and deliver various marketing channels via JSON and XML.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain and optimize applications, services, and databases
• Work directly with business analysts/product owners to translate business requirements into design documents and application documentation
• Translating the business requirements into code
• QA test own code and apps to ensure function according to specifications
• Application releases through proper SDLC
• Work closely with business analysts/product owners to ensure the applications function per specifications

Position Requirements:

• Great communication skills, detail oriented, self-driven and self-managed
• Quick to learn and adapt new strategies and technologies
• 6+ years with (C#) .NET Framework 4.6.2+, .NET Core 3.1+, .NET 5, or .NET 6
• Proficient in SQL Server (2014+), Stored Procedures, User-defined functions, user-defined table-types
• Entity Framework Core & Dapper
• Understand and be able to implement key architectural patterns like micro-services and Dependency Injection
• Proficient in Web APIs, know how to build, test and consume them
• Experience with Docker (and docker hub) [not required, nice to have]
• Experience with Linux servers (preferably Ubuntu Server and/or CentOS) [not required, nice to have]
• CI/CD pipelines [not required, nice to have]
• PHP 5.4+ / Laravel 7+ [not required, nice to have]
• Windows Forms & WPF [not required, nice to have]
