Job Description
Overall HR responsibility: Develop and deliver world-class Human Resources strategy and operational excellence for the BBU function in partnership with Global HR in the US, the regional and local HR Partners in the countries across the three regions – Europe, US and APAC. Address short and long-term regional and functional human capital needs and assure the attraction, development and retention of top talent. Work closely with Talent Acquisition, People & Organization Development, and HR Shared Service to ensure all HR services and programs are delivered for BBU professional, meet the needs of the business and are fully compliant with corporate guidelines and local employment regulations. Partner with the business on organizational change and effectiveness efforts and drive alignment between the company and BBU. Recognized as an external thought leader within a strategic organization function or job discipline and requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and technologies within own field. Proactively identifies and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the business and shape the business strategy. Strong focus on Organizational design and talent planning – Team performance coaching, talent assessment and pipeline planning – Position is a leadership team seat with US BBU LT – Another piece would be part of a global HR organization with responsibility for a regional business unit A proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams, strong business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking • 7-10 years or more experience of HR Business Partner experience in a global organization • Coach executives and managers across the organization on people and organizational topics • Ability to think and act globally, while assessing when a decision is isolated locally • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization • Strong communication and influencing skills • Analytical and strategic thinking
