Primary Responsibilities :
Prepare new hire packets and process new employees through HR system. Conduct orientations, create and maintain new employee files. Follow up on all missing documentation.
Answer and respond to HR calls, emails and correspondence in a timely manner. Communicate issues to affected personnel.
Organize, prioritize and summarize the content of incoming materials / mail, specially gathered information and special requests.
Prepare reports and correspondence, including confidential information pertaining to employees and distribute appropriately.
Maintain information, such as intranet site, mailing lists, organizational charts, vacation days, etc.
Update and maintain employee information in HRIS system.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other company events. Inform attendees of function dates and times, reserve meeting space, provide the appropriate equipment / materials and hospitality services as needed in these meetings.
File correspondence and other records.
Code, approve and distribute miscellaneous invoices.
Process and communicate results from background screens (employment verifications, drug screens, etc.) to affected hiring manager.
Serve as the program administrator for E-Verify and validate all applicable employees via the system. Follow up on expired work authorizations, tentative non-confirmations, etc.
Qualifications :
Associate degree and at least 1 year of prior HR/Administrative experience or 3 or more years of related experience.
Excellent computer skills in MS Office.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Competent follow through skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Committed to accuracy.
Good interpersonal / relationship management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
