The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resource department with a wide range of projects and tasks related to recruiting, onboarding, compensation, training and development, and employee engagement.
Summer Internship Outline:
Training
Learn to utilize the company Learning Management System, Culligan University
Coordinate/Administer the summer eLearning Training competition
Support daily administration of Culligan University eLearning system
Onboarding
Learn Culligan’s onboarding philosophy
Shadow first day orientations
Assist with onboarding coordination and first day material preparation
Compensation
Learn Culligan’s Compensation philosophy
Assist HRBP’s with Market Data research
Recruitment
Learn Culligan’s hiring process
Learn to post jobs, source candidates, and move them through the hiring process
Assist in the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews
Employee Engagement
Assist with planning the Annual Summer Picnic
Assist with employee engagement and soliciting employee feedback through Club Culligan
Learn about Culligan’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and be an active member and advocate
Administration
Organize and manage the review and updating of employee data
Review and update HR Policies and Procedures
Perform various functions within each discipline of the Human Resources department
Other projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Junior or Senior working towards Bachelor’s degree in HR or other related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience in an office environment is a plus
