Position Overview:
Participate in various aspects of recruiting to include, but not limited to: candidate sourcing, scheduling interviews, conducting references, initiating pre-employment assessments, background checks, and drug screens
Involvement with implementing HR programs and services which may include, but not be limited to: employee handbook, training materials, HRIS, time and attendance, and records management
Participate in, and/or lead, human resources-related projects as assigned
Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department and services performed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing degree in Human Resources or related field
Ideally will have an interest in recruiting, payroll and/or benefits administration
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communicates clearly and effectively
Ability to handle employee issues with sensitivity and confidentiality
Must be flexible with exceptional ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
