Delta Air Lines Human Resources team is looking for an experienced Specialist, HR Records to join our HR Service Delivery team in our Atlanta office. We are looking for someone that finds enjoyment in helping others find resolution in the area of employee services (i.e., personnel records, payroll, health & welfare, retirement).
This Specialist role will support the organization in implementation of large-scale strategies for maintaining HR records across diverse platforms and formats. The role will also support providing high quality employee experiences by delivering accurate and timely support through emails, phone calls, walk-ins, and case tracking tools.
This position encompasses a combination of daily records administration of highly confidential information, project management, and maintaining reasonable service level agreements with customers and business partners by providing accurate and timely responses.
Responsible for organization, inventory, maintenance, and retention of active and inactive personnel records
Provide accurate and timely support to employees and business partners for employee services and record request escalations
Assist in organizing large scale business strategies around HR records and employee services
Provide consultation and guidance to employees, vendors, and contractors as the subject matter expert or a liaison for topics related to employee services (i.e., HR Records, Health & Welfare, Dependent Management, Payroll, Retirement)
Lead efforts in offsite records storage inventory and processes
Retrieve highly confidential and time sensitive HR or legal records for business partners
Grant or reset organizational access to online document management systems
Administer HR records compliance-related functions such as employment verifications and separation notices
Perform necessary audits to ensure compliance
Responsible for accurate data entry into HRIS systems
Lead processes related to provision of records for internal and external stakeholders
Assist in reviewing and refining employee life cycle processes to streamline and standardize
Update internal process documents and workflows
Assist in working with IT partners to manage systems, address any technical performance issues and to develop necessary integrations
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
3+ years related records management experience
1-2 years experience in benefits/health & welfare, payroll, or retirement
Demonstrated ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced, dynamic, global work environment
Experience with large-scale records or document retention functions
Knowledge of human resources and legal requirements related to record retention
Ability to organize projects and track progress
Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
Well organized
