DSG manages CrimeSolutions, an evidence assessment of justice programs and practices for the Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice. Along with our nationwide team of scholars, DSG reviews and assesses the evidence base of numerous interventions in criminal justice, juvenile justice, and crime victimization for inclusion in this nationally recognized repository. In addition, DSG operates the Model Programs Guide (MPG), a comprehensive, searchable, user-friendly website on the full range of evidence-based programs that address at-risk youth.
The ideal candidate should have a background in juvenile justice, criminal justice, social sciences (e.g., sociology), program evaluation, and/or quantitative methods. Duties include conducting research literature reviews for evidence-based programs and practices, preparing research summaries, conducting statistical analyses, providing research support, and data entry. Research Analyst must possess a Ph.D. and 2–3 years of experience. Knowledge of survey methods, research design, statistics, and SPSS/STATA is required. Additional experience in behavioral health research a plus.
