We are seeking a HR Generalist in our Remote Office office.
What You’ll Do:
The HR Generalist partners with the HR Business Partners globally and provides support for human resource for a specific region for related responsibilities including, but not limited to employee relations, training, location communications, affirmative action and employment equity programs. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for the management and coordination of Digital River’s training/learning and development tools and programs. This role will coordinate with HR Business Partners and other HR team members on the rollout/communication of training and learning and development programs globally.
General HR Business Support
Serves as the initial point of contacts for employees in a specific geographic office for general matters relating to, but not limited to: benefits, policies, programs etc, partnering with the HR Business Partners supporting the line of business
Provides support in other HR areas, leveraging global HR Business Partners as appropriate
Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the HR Business Partners and management teams, as appropriate, for corrective actions and continuous improvement
Assists the HR Business Partners with details required to administer annual performance management/review process
Assists local hiring managers with the onboarding of new employees
Coordinates the administration of human resource related programs and materials locally
Assists with the recruiting, interviewing, selection and hiring of employees as necessary
Training/Learning & Development
Researches and recommends training opportunities for Digital River
Coordinates the materials and timing of training opportunities globally
Manages the administration of Digital River’s Training/Learning and Development tools, systems and processes
Partners with the HR team globally to administer and implement trainings consistently across Digital River
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Required / Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2 years of HR experience on an HR Coordinator/Generalist role with an understanding of HR policy and procedures
Exposure to principals of employment law.
Knowledge of multiple HR functional areas including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Training, etc.
Demonstrated performance effectively managing confidential information.
A team player with excellent communication, customer service skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Well organized with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to work on their own initiative, and under competing priorities
Knowledge of basic general Microsoft Office systems
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing with all levels of employees and external agencies
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
