Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the HR Director, implement and coordinate HR programs in support of DLZ strategic objectives and maintaining a model workplace. Program areas will encompass all areas of HR including employee engagement, talent acquisition, benefit design & management, compensation, and development and training.
Coordinates the DLZ employee life cycle experience. Work closely with our HR Coordinator to maximize recruitment efforts and ensure onboarding/employee orientation programs are based on best practices.
With the assistance of the Benefits Coordinator, maintain the HRIS and employee records system. Help in the management and administration of DLZ benefit programs.
Assume key role in DLZ Diversity and Inclusion initiative. Develop and implement targeted strategies to attract and welcome diverse employees to DLZ.
Cross-train with our HR Coordinator, Benefits Coordinator, and the Director of HR to ensure continuity of operations.
Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the operations of the department and services performed.
Under the guidance of Director of HR, assume roles in support of essential corporate support functions such as fleet management, safety, and/or facilities management.
Produce comprehensive reports, documents and presentations.
Assist with other general duties of the HR department, providing exceptional customer service to all applicants, team members, and clients.
Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Extensive relevant HR experience may be substituted for degree.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources.
Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS and employee management systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, Power BI or other data management tools.
Ability to draft concise, well-written policies, job descriptions, procedures and company communications is a must.
Applicants seeking an HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, etc.) is a plus.
