The Vice President of Marketing of Sales will lead us in helping us promote our brand, our new line of Earth Fare branded products, and connect with our customers. Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience, sale building at multi-unit retail and a comprehensive knowledge of branding. They will have the ability to lead a small marketing team, store leaders and interact with customers and brand partners on a regular basis.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with Category Merchants and Directors to create and develop opportunities to grow sales, brand awareness, and promote new and existing products, through various digital and print marketing channels.
• Partner with store teams to identify marketing opportunities outside our established customer audience and strategize to acquire consistent growth within our current customer audience
• Partners with store teams to promote seasonal marketing strategies and local marketing opportunities.
• Identify manage and improve marketing team processes, including tracking budget, managing vendor estimates, marketing supplies portal and approvals of marketing costs.
• Ownership of the marketing team’s progress and successful completion of all marketing projects including holiday planning, lead generation events and program communication and execution with operations.
• Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools for social media, website, and email subscribers to provide leadership and stores campaign results and customer feedback and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
• Lead Vendor COOP marketing advertisement opportunities
• Project Manage New Store Openings for Marketing needs and Décor to a successful opening and beyond

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Lead the development of marketing plans working closely with stores, leadership, creative and community teams, and co-op partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing plan focused on growing loyal shoppers for our brand and stores
• Leads the development of community relationship programs and initiatives.
• Spearhead the execution of marketing projects and campaigns, including defining the objective, collecting information and resources for content, tracking feedback and reporting results, and recommendations
• Hold regular meetings with marketing team and leadership to review and track projects, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions for any project hurdles that may arise
• Drive and manage Earth Fare Marketing Team and Outside Consulting Agencies to continued success

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
• Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience with marketing strategy execution including digital and print marketing, content marketing, social media marketing and email marketing
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
