HR On-Demand Consultant (Greater Cincinnati Area) Hybrid

Are you a Human Resources (HR) professional with both HR Strategic and HR Generalist experience, who is interested in performing HR project assignments on a periodic basis?

If you would like to put your years of HR experience to work but in a different way, we have an exciting opportunity available for HR experts who are passionate about helping businesses succeed, but only desire to work on assignments on an as needed basis. This role does not provide a set amount of weekly or monthly hours. Hours are dictated by the needs of our members.

This part-time on-demand position requires that you work both remote and on-site assignments at the members work location as applicable. The length of the assignments will vary according to the need which can be a daily, weekly or a monthly duration.

In this role, HR experts manage the full scope of HR responsibilities for HR On-Demand assignments for ERA members to include Recruitment Services, HR Generalist support, and Strategic HR Project management work.

Responsibilities would include any combination of the following:

• Recruitment and Selection
• New Employee Onboarding
• Benefits Administration
• Employee Relations, Disciplinary Action, Terminations
• Employee Engagement
• FMLA compliance
• Educate and ensure that members are compliant and aware of changes with all employment laws
• Create policies and procedures
• HR Project Management
• Payroll implementation and/or administration
• HRIS Technology proficiency to include updating client and employee information within the HRIS system
• Communicate with all assigned members on a regular basis
• Handle all unemployment related correspondence and hearings
• Handle Workers Compensation inquiries
• Provide Leadership and Management Team HR Support
• Create & implement HR Strategy
• Must be willing to work on-site and travel to member locations within the tri-state area as needed

Required education and background include:

• HR Expert with Minimum 8-10 years of HR related experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred
• SHRM-CP, SCP or SPHR/PHR preferred

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, HRIS and Payroll system knowledge)
• Ability to work independently
• Must be willing to work in a wide range of work environments to include manufacturing and service industry
• Flexibility and the desire to work basic to strategic assignments
