POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional HR Business Partner (R-HRBP) position is responsible for aligning people strategies, tactics, and initiatives with Exceptional Living Centers (ELC) strategic goals and business objectives by partnering with leadership at designated business units and sites to meet and exceed business goals. The R-HRBP works with leadership, managers and employees to ensure ELC develops and delivers human resource programs and services that provide an “exceptional” employee experience through our employees’ entire lifecycle.
This job will require frequent travel.
Provides regular HR support and guidance to regional leadership. Consults with management, providing HR guidance and works with management and employees to improve working relationships, increase productivity, and drive employee engagement and retention.
Develops processes and procedures to support team members, including compensation, performance management, organizational design, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, organization culture, rewards and recognition, and talent management and retention to provide an exceptional employee experience.
Provides guidance and support with respect to resolving complex and sensitive employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, confidential and objective investigations. Assists with the development and delivery of performance coaching/improvement plans and provides support and guidance with respect to disciplinary action/terminations as needed.
Provides expert advice and strategic partnership to leaders on organization and human resources issues for assigned sites or business lines.
Coaches leaders and managers to optimize high performing teams, address employee issues and drive accountability.
Facilitates cross-functional groups working together to solve difficult and complex problems and accomplish challenging objectives.
Consults, coaches, and provides diversity, equity and inclusion guidance and supports to senior leadership, functional leaders and stakeholders throughout ELC.
Ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Ensures a consistent approach to exit and stay interviews.
Partners with business leaders, talent acquisition partners and site human resources to evaluate workforce needs for assigned sites and/or business lines and develop effective talent acquisition strategies and tactics.
Leads organizational effectiveness, organizational design/development, succession and workforce planning for assigned business units.
Assists in implementing broad-based human resources initiatives.
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Remains abreast of general employment-related and trends as well as specific state and local regulations for the assigned region.
Interprets and communicates policies and guidelines and ensures that existing policies comply with employment and related local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Support rollout of technology to support overall business needs including payroll, HRIS, ATS, scheduling software and learning management systems.
Interprets data to drive business/HR initiatives to exceed outcomes and goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business, management or related field.
Five (5) or more years of relevant human resources experience, ideally as a business partner in healthcare industry.
Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of business acumen and understands how to link people strategies to business strategies and collaborate with leaders at all levels.
Strong collaborative approach to addressing opportunities for improved outcomes.
Experience using data/analytics to arrive at recommendations and outcomes.
Ability to build strong relationships.
Demonstrates the highest level of integrity in daily interactions.
Ability to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or HRCI certification (PHR or SPHR).
