Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant I with experience in project management within healthcare research, operations, or consulting to join our Evidence & Strategy practice. The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills in client-facing roles, with prior experience in quality measurement and reporting programs, patient-centric studies, shared decision making (SDM), public opinion polling, digital technology, health equity, and/or evidence generation.

Avalere’s Evidence & Strategy practice provides exceptional consultation, evidence, and insights on key aspects of healthcare – including patient-centric health economics outcomes research (HEOR), quality, shared decision-making, value-based care, and health equity – and to shape strategy for our clients.

The Consultant I, Project Manager, Healthcare Quality and Value, will support client engagements that inform business and evidence strategy related to patient-centric value, collection of patient insights from surveys, evidence strategy, as well as the development and testing of shared decision-making and other clinical tools.
The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of federal quality reporting programs, designing and implementing real-world evidence studies, translating clinical and practice guidelines, or communicating value for life sciences products, especially how value is defined from all perspectives, including patients and caregivers. They will also have had experience with conducting qualitative research with patients, caregivers, or providers and/or quantitative research.
