We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team! The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to learn and support the team with daily administration of the regions HR functions and the implementation of HR initiatives for our rapidly growing organization.
A Day In The Life
Supporting recruitment efforts by posting and sorting job advertisements, sourcing resumes, conducting phone pre-screens, arranging interviews, sitting in on interviews, conducting reference checks
Ensure payroll and IT are aware of all new and departing employees
Assist with new hire orientations and the onboarding process
Track, document, and ensure all applicable paperwork is completed for organizational changes, i.e. position transfers/promotions
Participating in the HR team’s special development projects
Assist in Flynn Learning and Development initiatives
Assist in processing and administering all leave-of-absence requests and paperwork
Maintain employee files within HRIS system
Attend job fairs and school outreach programs
Support Regional HR Business Partner as needed
Other duties as assigned
What We Are Seeking
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related business field preferred
Bilingual – English/Spanish
Excellent computer skills and superior knowledge of all MS Office Suite programs
Excellent planning, organization, interpersonal and customer service skills
Proactive and process-oriented working style, with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local Laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function including, but not limited to FLSA, ADA, FMLA and Civil Rights Act of 1964
Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry is a distinct asset
Ability to multi-task, meet pressing deadlines and anticipate client needs
Ability to maintain composure, professionalism and a high level of confidentiality at all times
