Apply to join the Freddie Mac Human Resources Division as a Risk and Controls Manager to help consult, develop, execute and monitor HR risk, controls and oversight standards in an integrated divisional strategy.
The Risk and Controls Manager will be part of the HR Risk, Controls and Oversight team. You will serve as the lead for all risk & controls (e.g., Internal audits, regulatory examinations from Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion – FHFA OMWI) for HR’s Center of Excellence department, the Office of Inclusive Engagement (OIE). Partnering with the OIE, you will be responsible for enhancing, developing and documenting diversity, equity and inclusion policies, standards, processes and procedures. As part of this team, you will also work closely with risk oversight partners across the firm, including the Second Line of Defense, Compliance, Conservatorship and Regulatory Affairs and interface with FHFA OMWI.

HR Risk, Controls and Oversight:
Responsibilities
Serve as the risk, controls and oversight lead for the OIE
Lead all risk and control efforts for OIE, including FHFA OMWI priorities, deliverables, directives and related policies, procedures, strategic plans, regulations/examinations, documentation and key priorities (e.g., processes, remediation action plans, third-party, issue management, operational risk management, Agreed Upon Actions, etc.)
Serve as the lead representative with FHFA OMWI for ongoing examination meetings and requests and with Internal Audit for annual diversity, equity and inclusion audits
Develop and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (i.e., FHFA OMWI, Conservatorship and Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit and Compliance)
Partner with division leadership and practitioners to provide sustainable ways to ensure that products and solutions meet corporate risk and regulatory requirements and standards
Support the HR Risk, Controls and Oversight team with the management and execution of privacy compliance, supplier risk management, operational risk monitoring and reporting and internal/external audits
Maintain, track, and communicate status of assigned work to key internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
7-10 years of related experience (Minimum of three years work experience with risk-based auditing and examinations )
College Degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
Must work well in a team-oriented environment
Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
