HR Specialist
This position is located in Hazleton, PA and reports to the Human Resources Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position provides HR and Communications transactional support to hourly employees.
- Support includes, but is not limited to:
- Processing HR transactions for new hires, position changes, compensation changes, transfers/promotions, leaves, and separations
- Monitoring Freedom’s social media presence
- Employee engagement and communications activities
- Responsible for running reports as well as maintaining and monitoring HR data quality/integrity.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll system
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Ability to work as a part of a team to accomplish common goals and to flex to assist other Team members with their work
- Excellent customer service and time management.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines, must have ability to prioritize.
- Strong communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- High school education or G.E.D.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
