We are looking to add experienced logistics sales professionals that can make an immediate impact. In particular, we are need of individuals with a background in either Freight Brokerage or Ocean Import/Exports who have worked in sales or directly servicing customers:

Position Summary:

Responsible for establishing and growing professional B2B dealings specializing in the movement of Import/Export Containers or Full Truckload in North America. Helping our clients navigate the tumultuous environment of drayage pricing, accessorial charges, per diem, and storage. This sales position requires a healthy understanding of both carrier services and client needs. The ideal candidate will utilize both their network of contacts they have established over the course of their sales and professional career in addition to prospecting and engaging with new prospective clients provided to them in FMI’s internal leads database. A sales role with thousands of open leads and accounts up for grabs and an uncapped bonus program.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Generate and Organize Client Leads: Contact new and existing Freight Forwarders, NVOCCs, etc. to promote FMI’s Draydex® along with a full range of drayage and intermodal transportation services.
• Email, call, and visit (local only) clients to ensure service satisfaction.
• Maintain constant awareness of client needs and operational impact.
• Reach / exceed monthly sales goals / KPI’s
• Provide updates/reports to Management as requested.
