Annual Salary Range (based on experience): $40K+

Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, Kronos, PeopleSoft)

Job Description
While reporting to the Plant HR Manager as the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and applying the Company’s Human Resources policies, procedures and local Human Resources tasks. The primary focus of this position will be on; hourly payroll, hourly recruiting/orientation, benefit interpretations/administration and training. This individual must possess the ability to maintain a flawless level of confidentially.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Hourly Staffing – Work with local Management and/or the Temporary Staffing Service to insure appropriate hourly staffing
Post internal job openings and shift change opportunities
Conduct New Employee Orientation
Serve as contact with Temporary Agency
Perform all “Superior Staffing” data entry functions (Work Nexus) for the Temporary Workers to be paid accurately and timely
Schedule Annual Training (Harassment, Open Door, Workplace Violence)
Track and ensure progressive discipline procedure/process is being followed consistently
Serve as a facilitator to ensure all policies/procedures are administered in a fair and consistent manner.
Maintain employment records and advise management of new hire/promotion/temporary worker progression (30, 60, 90 days) and ensure performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner
Maintain records and advise management of annual performance evaluation requirements and insure they are completed in a timely manner
Maintain Seniority list (DOH, Classification, Shift…) and update as necessary
Assist employees during the “Open Enrollment” process
Maintains training files for all employees including tracking any training (whether in-house or external) and completing certification forms for same
Comply with all Local/State/Federal Employment Laws (i.e., practices, postings, updating changes to remain compliant)
Be available to all employees to insure they have an opportunity to communicate questions, comments and concerns regarding employment, benefits, policies.
Work with all department heads to determine required training for departmental personnel and implement as required.
Other duties as requested by Supervisor
