Primary responsibilities include support of the Human Resources department through assistance with recruiting efforts and new hire onboarding – including all new hire paperwork, health screen, and background check. Additional Human Resources duties include management of employee badge program, facilitation of monthly new employee orientation, coordination of job shadow/clinical student rotation program, policy management records and retention process, and other duties as assigned. This position will also serve as the Excellian (EMR – hospital/clinic electronic medical record) coordinator by overseeing all system access and enrollment in corresponding training classes.
Additional responsibilities include support of the Education department by projects as assigned including maintenance and reporting for the employee computer-based learning system, Net Learning.
Qualifications:
Administrative Assistant or equivalent degree preferred with 1-2 years of general business experience. Healthcare and/or Human Resources experience is a plus!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong critical thinking and decision-making skills required. Must be organized, able to multi-task, able to work independently and as part of a team. Time management skills, high degree of accuracy, possess mature judgement, critical thinking skills and confidentiality required.
Must be self-directed, flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and management needs simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required. Experience in electronic document management systems or past HR system experience, preferred.
General familiarity of various employment laws and practices.
