We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for the execution of our services in the field including leadership of our field service crews who perform on-site maintenance and repair services. The Operations Manager duties will include scheduling, managing service levels, productivity, maintaining customer relationships, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating crew performance. In addition, this person will be the “technical expert” and a resource for customers and crews to help drive service and productivity. We are searching for a team-player who will be energetic and innovative in this position. Our company is a leader within the industry and provides preventative maintenance services such as pressure washing and parking lot sweeping in addition to on call repair programs for all rolling equipment within the retail wholesale and grocery industries. Our growth has been phenomenal due to the hard work and dedication of our staff. Due to our growth our management team is also excellent at training and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and be accountable for assigned field crews and be responsible for the accompanying P and L’s of each location
– Lead and manage crew performance
– Become a subject matter expert in company service offerings
– Develop scheduling, capacity planning, and staffing analytics and plans
– Ensure accurate and timely completion of services
– Produce and maintain customer-specific performance and aging reports
– Be the key interface with crews, customers, troubleshooting issues and communicating information
– Drive efforts to manage and improve operations, onboard customers, and drive profitability
– Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to scale the business and support growth
– Recruit, train, and mentor teams on performance and technical aspects of services
– Regularly develop and report on KPI and P&L
– Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree required
– Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
– Must be able to pass a criminal background and DMV record check
– Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word-Intermediate level or above)
– Knowledge of recruiting and human resource experience
– Must be available to travel to manage sites
– Ability to work on-site at company headquarters and be available to team after hours
– Ability to lead field-based technicians
– Hand On “roll up your sleeves” attitude
– Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
– Excellent organizational and management skills
– Interest and ability to learn basic mechanical skills
– Ability to adapt to and learn new technology and systems
– Accountability in managing multiple priorities and meeting business deadlines with a sense of urgency
– Ability to provide excellent customer service
– Must be a team-player and collaborator
– Must be interested in working in an environment that prioritizes personal and professional development creating a better environment
