General Purpose: HR Manager performs various human resources functions relating to Employee Relations, hiring, recruitment and termination.
Compensation Pay: Negotiable

THE FOLLOWING ARE SOME OF THE DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

HUMAN RESOURCES
1. Implement Human Resources policies and programs to ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant.
2. Collaborate with upper management to provide guidance and assistance to the Operations Team on all HR issues and laws and regulations.
3. Review, compose & Issue Corrective Actions Letter and documents that are compliant with Company policies and rules.
4. Investigate employee issues related to equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, accidents & employee misconduct.
5. Investigate corrective actions, complaints and charges of sexual harassment, issue findings and determination.
6. In each area, ensures consistency of approach and follow-through, and maintaining appropriate documentation and record keeping.
7. Provide policy interpretation and ensures accurate and consistent application of all Company policies and procedures, and related compliance laws.
8. Respond to employee complaints and charges of discrimination and harassment; conduct workplace investigations and issue findings and discipline.
9. Act as Company Representative for all accident, Workers’ Compensation and personnel-related investigations as well as separations/terminations in consultation with upper management.
10. Create new and revised job descriptions and job postings; source, interview and hire employees to ensure adequate staffing.
11. Manage all separations – involuntary and voluntary, and ensure separated employees receive final paycheck.
12. Develop and/or administer special projects and perform other operational support duties as necessary.
13. Support operations team.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is required – Must be able to sustain good attendance and be reliable.

Preferred:
1. Must have minimum of five years of HR, management and customer service experience and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
2. Must be able to understand, read, and follow written instructions and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Must adhere to and become knowledgeable in Company policies, procedures and rules and be able to apply Company policies in a consistent manner.
2. Must be able to interact and communicate with people in a courteous manner while displaying good customer service skills.
3. Must be able to remain calm and be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting.
4. Must be able to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling any “complaint” situations.
5. Must be able to write, read, understands complex, clear and concise reports using proficient grammar and punctuation skills.
6. Must possess basic computer skills to use a Personal Computer (PC). Must have proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word.
7. Must have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Required license or certification:
