Summary

The HR Manager will develop and execute programs and policies to support the daily operations, short and long term planning of the HR department. Work in partnership with the Human Resources Director and Head of People and HR to build and maintain a great place for employees to do their best work, every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to management on appropriately managing employee relations issues to ensure best practice, legal compliance, and documentation
• In partnership with the HR Director, provide performance management support
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local laws and HR policies are applied fairly and consistently throughout the organization
• Responsible for managing and maintaining the employee handbook
• Develop and analyze reports and make recommendations as appropriate (turnover, exit interviews, etc.)
• Ensure all programs are executed within allocated budgets
• In partnership with the HR Director, assist with annual open enrollment, billing, benefits, and identify opportunities to enhance benefit programs
• In partnership with the Head of People and HR, oversee recruitment and employer branding, D&I, and employee engagement
• Ensure LOA practices meet compliance regulations
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends
• Consummate professional and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully navigate in an ambiguous environment
• Travel may be required
• 21 years of age
