Job Summary: We are growing! We are excited to bring on a Training Specialist, to join the Human Resources Team in a remote environment. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the learning needs of our organization, defining learning needs, building curriculum, and facilitating training for our current and newly hired team members. You will be responsible for asynchronous/blended curriculum development and facilitating learning in a virtual environment.
In addition, you will be a key partner in continuous improvement of processes and procedures within Operations through documentation support and change management. This opportunity will provide the ability to grow within the training and employee development industry while gaining new skills and building strong working relationships. Duties and Responsibilities:
· You will build and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers including management and team members.
· You will develop training materials, manuals, procedures and/or visual aids for the Hayman Woodward Team (soft skills, technical needs, etc.).
· You will develop, implement, and evaluate training plans and programs to meet departmental training objectives.
· You will facilitate training and review evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommend modifications, as necessary.
· You will proactively collaborate and communicate with appropriate internal stakeholders to address training gaps to optimize organizational performance.
· You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging trends within the learning industry and collaborate with training peers to incorporate new trends and developments in curriculum for future solutions.
Core Competencies
Qualifications and Must haves:
· 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· 3 – 5+ Years’ experience in training, teaching, coaching team lead activities that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
· Ability to build trusted relationships
· Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
· Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
· Instructional design education or experience (using the ADDIE Model)
· Excellent Presentation or public speaking skills Strong Ability to communicate training needs using various communication methods such as storyboards to support e-learning, traditional classroom, virtual classroom, conference calls, etc.
· Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
