Job Description
Mid-size law firm seeks a full-time Accounting Clerk. Our professional environment requires someone with initiative, professional appearance and attitude, ability to work as part of an administrative team.
Duties and responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
- Responsible for all transactions in the billing process, cash receipts, account receivable, client trust funds
- Daily deposit worksheet
- Process daily check requests
- Accounts payable
- Assists with monthly billing process
- New client file creation
Education and experience:
- 2 to 3 years office experience
- Experience with accounting functions a plus
Skills and other requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Document Management Systems (experience with mail merge documents helpful)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Superior attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in group setting as part of an administrative team
