Position Summary:
This is a part time HR Administrator position responsible for general Human Resources functions including but not limited to payroll, benefits administration, new hires, terminations, HRIS, performance management and other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
– Responds to questions from employees regarding all HR related issues.
– Stays educated on the latest laws and legislation (on local, state, and federal levels) and informs the organization on major legal changes.
– Update and administer corporate employment policies as directed by Department Manager.
– Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
– Keep employee personnel files and recruiting data organized and up to date.
– Maintains up-to-date Sexual Harassment Training.
– Monitors Leave of Absences.
– Manages Workers comp and ACA audits.
– Supports Department Manager on Immigration issues.
– Manages workers comp incidents including filing WC claim and tracking employee progress.
Qualifications:
– Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
– Proactive, self-directing, and detail oriented with good planning and organizational skills.
– Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
– Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
– Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
– The ability to remain flexible in a changing environment.
– MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, proficient.
Education/Experience Requirements:
– Five years of ADP WorkForce Now experience is required.
– At Least 5 years of HR experience in high-tech environment required.
– Prior human resource management experience preferred.
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Position Specifics:
– This is a part time position requiring 20-25 hours per week.
– Position is benefits eligible including health insurance.
– Position is combination of work from home and on-site.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
