Overview:
About the role:
The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Director/Manager, as well as line managers as a business partner. This position supports a wide range of key HR initiatives in support of the business.
Responsibilities:
What you’ll be doing:
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Promote a culture of safety and exhibit such behaviors.
Support managers and supervisors with HR related processes such as new hires, onboarding, returning employees to work status, and terminations.
Adheres to identified HR processes and procedures to ensure consistency.
Assist field operations in compliance with various governmental laws and regulations to include EEOC, Wage and Hour, workers compensation, disability, FMLA, etc.
Participate in HR Project Teams to identify opportunities for improving current processes.
Supports implementation of Corporate Human Resources programs and policies for the business.
Supports Talent Acquisition activities for exempt positions including preparing offer letters, running background checks, and setting up employees for hire.
Actively supports HR Manager with onboarding and orientation for exempt and non-exempt employees.
Conduct research on HR related topics.
Other duties as assigned or requested and serve as a backup to the HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
Actively work with HR team and assigned business group at all levels
Build strong working relationship with assigned business group
Qualifications:
What we’re looking for:
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of experience
Field of Study Preferred: Human Resources or related field
Required Work Experience: 5 years work experience with a successful track record as an HR Generalist and with progressive responsibilities preferred
Required Computer and Software Skills: Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; ATS and HRIS software preferred
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
