What You’d Be Expected To Do
You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the daily activities of the ICAT Customs Brokerage and Corporate Operations Departments, providing high-level customer service functions, and helping to ensure regulatory compliance is followed for timely and accurate customs entries.
What your background looks like?
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or 3+ years of international operations freight forwarding experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of CHB entry-writing experience
- Desire to obtain a Customs Broker License in the next couple of years
- Experience in multimodal international logistics (Air/Ocean Freight)
- Knowledge of US Customs and other Government Agency regulations as it pertains to import cargo
- Functional knowledge of international regulations and compliance procedures in air/ocean freight
- Familiar with the Harmonized Tariff System and customs power of attorney
