Indeed is seeking a Senior Director, Talent Management to design and implement strategies that ensure we develop and grow exceptional talent at Indeed. The ideal candidate has strong experience in a dynamic and fast pacing environment. Reporting to the VP, Talent Management, this person designs and delivers processes and programs to create long-term career opportunities for our employees while driving organizational performance. This position leads and oversees the design and delivery of the talent management cycle, including performance management, learning, leadership development, organization and talent reviews, succession planning, and career development plans. Key activities include creating organization structures, roles, and jobs based on comprehensive needs assessments, administering performance management tools, such as feedback instruments, competency models, and opinion surveys, and leading succession planning for key roles.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with leaders to further define the overall talent management strategy for Indeed, including pipeline development, broad-based learning & development, differentiated leadership development in alignment with our company values, and organizational development.
Identify common talent needs across the organization to inform strategic priorities in alignment with overarching talent strategy and ensure talent strategies align with business needs
Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in the talent development domain, including internal and external best practices and adopt for the enterprise as appropriate
Own organization-wide talent management lifecycle and processes (e.g., goal-setting, feedback & performance management, succession planning, organization and talent reviews, promotion and career pathing) to ensure equitable and inclusion outcomes
Manage the design, delivery, and measurement of leadership development programs; works with leadership to identify and implement critical development needs
Enhance a develop a holistic executive talent review and succession planning strategy, in partnership with HRBP & DIBs teams
Create a framework for career pathing and implement meaningful solutions to activate internal talent marketplace
Manage a function capable of meeting the needs of a growing and dynamic talent landscape and be able to lead others in a matrix environment
Take an inquisitive and consultative approach to partner with HR Business Partner and Diversity Inclusion & Belonging teams to drive effective talent strategies, including mentoring, sponsorship and coaching programs
Define talent analytics metrics; establish KPI’s to to measure impact and ROI and adjust strategy based on insights
Who You Are
12+ years of experience in human resources or equivalent
8+ years of people management experience
Experience creating and implementing programs focused on the development of employees
Experience serving as a true partner to business leaders by employing an approach that includes an emphasis on service delivery, education, and growing a true consultative partnership with the ability to influence
Track record for solving complex problems, designing creative strategies and delivering significant impact
Exceptional organizational skills, at ease with ambiguity, ability to deal with high complexity situations, comfortable with a high level of detail yet mindful of the bigger picture
Passion for and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with partners at all levels across various functions of the organization
Strong data analytical ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable insights, and develop strategy based on those insights

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 172,000 – 260,000 USD per year
Austin 172,000 – 260,000 USD per year
NYC Metro Area 192,000 – 288,000 USD per year
