Garner Roofing, Inc., joined together with Infinite Energy is seeking an Operations/General Manager to join our growing and dynamic team. The company is poised for growth and expanding locally and in other geographic markets. This role will be pivotal in identifying, developing, and leading the execution of managerial and operational practices to optimize business growth and expansion.

Job Summary:
The Operations/General Manager will serve on the Leadership Team, and is responsible for driving new business, cultivating business relationships with prospective and new customers, optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness, and maximizing overall financial performance for the business units. This position plays a pivotal role in identifying, developing, implementing, and managing strategies, initiatives, practices, tactics, and protocols that are strategically, operationally, and financially aligned with each business unit’s vision and mission.
Minimum Experience & Education:
· Five years of experience working in a general management capacity with P&L and operations management responsibility, preferably within the construction industry
· Five years of experience supervising others; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Collaborates with senior executive management in establishing monthly, quarterly, and annual business development, sales, operational, and financial goals for the business units.
· Translates the strategic vision into specific, actionable, measurable, and time specific projects and initiatives.
· Establishes operational, and financial performance metrics, analyzes results, and applies any necessary follow up measures.
· Manages the profit and loss of the business unit through effective budgeting, resource allocation, progress review, and implementation of remedial or alternative measures when necessary.
· Consistently meets established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, operations, and financial goals.
· Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of the business units, and ensures proper acquisition and allocation of resources internally to meet customer needs.
· Identifies opportunities to optimize operational efficiencies and maximize overall financial performance.
· Develops, implements, manages, and evaluates strategies and internal measures to ensure business unit operational goals and objectives are consistently met, and applies remedial measures, when necessary, to address areas in need of improvement and development.
· Applies strategies and techniques that are consultative in scope to convey an image of quality, integrity, and superior understanding of the customer’s needs.
· Develops and maintains strong business relationships with customers to ensure all customer needs and customer retention goals are consistently met.
· Demonstrates highest levels of professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact in all interactions with prospective and current customers, Team Members, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and other third parties affiliated with the business.
· Interfaces regularly with all other internal functional groups
· Addresses routine, as well as escalated and non-routine, customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
· Identifies, selects, hires, and develops key team leaders and team members.
· Manages Team Member performance, applies coaching, corrective action, and developmental measures when appropriate.
· Identifies and provides team members with essential tools, resources, and support.
· Oversees development of installation schedules.
· Oversees internal departmental groups in processing customer orders, reviewing estimates, and inspecting job installations for quality and accuracy.
· Travels to job sites and other business unit locations as needed.
· Consistently displays integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork, and ethics.
· Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
