The People Success Operations Manager is an integral part of the People Success Team’s mission to build a sustainable organization that can adapt quickly to external and internal changes. As the hub of team member support, this visionary leader will focus on building out an operations center that automates and processes administrative tasks through the full employee life cycle, ensuring that the Company’s People functions run smoothly and accurately. Ultimately, the People Success Operations Manager works to build and maintain a culture where leaders are supported and team members feel valued.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee HR Operations ensuring smooth procedures for day-to-day administration of administrative tasks to support the employee life-cycle.
Evaluate, develop, and implement improvement plans for HR processes and procedures
Create automated and replicable processes for HR functions including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, background checks, I9s, new hire training, exit interview, benefit reconciliation, leave Administration, ADA Request for Accommodations,FMLA and workers compensation
Maintain and Ensure Data integrity in all HR systems
In collaboration with our Privacy Officer, ensure Instructure complies with local and international employment laws related to onboarding documentation and team member data storage
Manage internal and external audits as it relates to policies, procedures, and HR systems, ensuring employment legislation compliance
Keep informed about relevant employment legislation changes and update the business accordingly
Work to manage and improve HR Operations workflows that support the team and the broader organization.
Make recommendations to improve HR Ops technology to automate processes which in turn minimize administrative overhead
Participate in additional HR Ops-related projects
What You’ll Have:
Maniacal focus on data integrity
5 years of progressively responsible experience in HR
Strong understanding of ADA-AA
Strong understanding of FMLA
Strong understanding of HR Compliance
Analytically driven, demonstrating strong and creative problem-solving skills
Clear and concise communication, able to bridge a big picture vision and a tactical plan that our team members understand at the lowest level of detail
Strong team leader with proven experience building teams and systems that enhance the team member experience in an organization and contribute to Instructure’s ability to attract, develop, engage, and grow a highly talented diverse workforce
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to influence with data-driven recommendations
Demonstrated success in negotiating, organizing, planning, problem solving and partnering among multiple complex priorities to resolve issues, manage change, and deliver results
Proven ability to proactively recognize, plan and act on the need for innovation and process improvement.
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint/Slides skills
Preference for experience in WorkDay may be given
