Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Job Location: Remote
Role Summary:
As a Human Resources Generalist, this person is responsible for leading the recruitment efforts along with the recommendation of personnel policies and procedures, ensuring that internal policies and programs conform to all laws that affect the organization. This position is also responsible for input to the metrics or information flow of the HR activities on a monthly basis including headcount and application statistics records for release to the board on a monthly basis. This position will also work on employee relations for the organization ranging from guidance to separation of employment if needed.
Expected percent of duties is as follows,
· Recruitment and recruitment processing = 10%
· HR Operations to include all onboarding, off boarding and transactional items = 50%
· Employee relations and engagement = 40%
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Responsible for working with the assigned managers and HR staff in various locations in the recruitment and employment process including: advertisement creation, recruitment event coordination, job fairs, candidate research and posting and maintaining position openings, both externally and internally.
· Responsible for coordination of the hiring process including: scheduling interviews, application pre-screening, submitting background checks, completing reference checks and making hiring offers.
· Responsible for the coordination of employment paperwork associated with new hires, transfers, promotions, exits and terminations, through the Human Resource Specialist efforts.
· Responsible to assist with analyzing job duties, writing job descriptions, updating related work duty information for all positions within the company.
· Stay current with creation and communication of company policies and procedures through the Integreon Policy & Procedures Manual and Team Member Handbook to assist the company in operating more efficiently and effectively.
· Assist as needed with questions and/or communicating information to employees about promotion opportunities, eligibility, compensation, benefits, health, safety and security. Help guide the Human Resource Specialist to become this expert.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to work autonomously and without supervision within a fast paced, dynamic and creative organization.
Education & Experience:
· The candidate should have 2-3 years of HR experience along with degree level graduation.
· An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be accepted.
