We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Fiber & Logistics Coordinator at our Appleton, WI facility!

The Fiber & Logistics Coordinator will work directly with customers and suppliers to provide service needs while collaborating with the sales team on scheduling, tracking orders, and monitoring inventory. This person will run freight rates and schedule trucking as needed for material movement.

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION

• Work closely with sales team and peers on brokerage, mill and inventory transactions.
• Provide excellent service to customers and suppliers while scheduling and tracking orders.
• Monitor various warehouse inventory transactions and reporting.
• Keep detailed records of release numbers and transactions and enter all necessary information into CieTrade or other software tracking systems
• Obtain and negotiate freight rates with carriers and freight brokers, work with carriers and brokers to schedule and track loads.
• Make on site visits as needed to local warehouses/customers to assist with grading of material.
• Effectively and respectfully communicate with suppliers, customers, vendors and team members via phone, email, video conferencing and in person meetings.
• Promptly respond to customer and supplier inquiries for product information, availability, order status, pricing and documentation. Critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Takes initiative while including senior level in part of problem solving.

Other Significantjob Functions Include

• Regular and predictable attendance
• Data entry.
• Resolve supplier and customer complaints or inquiries in a professional manner
• Pull reports as needed for the sales team.
• Cross train to fill in as needed with our dedicated customer service team at local mill.
• Prepare and distribute packing lists and required CCIC photos to customers for all export transactions.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of Customer Service experience in transportation, manufacturing or recycling industry.

Preferred Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Skills

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Preferred Skills

• Previous knowledge or experience with CieTrade.
• Previous knowledge or experience within recycling or paper industry.
