Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Department: Shipping/Receiving
Shift: 6 am to 3pm
Reports To: Production & Shipping Manager
Compensation Range: $20.00 – $24.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform duties related to shipping and receiving.
- Operation of logistical equipment
- Loading / unloading trailers
- Occasional heavy lifting
- Ability to walk / stand through duration of shift
- Picking, scanning, verifying orders according to pick tickets and standard operating procedure
- Stage orders for delivery and loading of trucks
- Printing documentation for orders
- Maintaining cleanliness of the shipping and receiving department
- Notify management of any inventory discrepencies
- Stock rotation
- Working alone or with various employees to fill orders
- Cycle Counting
Required Skills And Abilities
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and distributing.
- Ability to obtain certification and safety operate various equipment used in the shipping department.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and execute in a fast paced work environment.
- Attention to detail.
