Our firm is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. James Moore is unique in that it offers the opportunity to entry-level accounting professionals to rotate through both Tax and Audit departments, if requested, to find out which side of Public Accounting is best suited for their own journey.
While on a six-month audit rotation, this position is responsible for performing basic accounting processes on a variety of engagements, including: audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements for a variety of industries. While on the six-month tax department rotation, this position will be responsible for preparing federal, state, county and local income tax returns for both businesses and individuals, under supervision of more experienced personnel. Alternatively, you can skip the option to rotate and commit right away to the path that best suits your interests!
