General Summary: For more than 60 years Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) has engaged young adults in direct service within underserved communities, fostering the growth of leaders committed to faith in action. JVC and the network of over 11,000 Former Jesuit Volunteers support approximately 200 Jesuit Volunteers each year as they work for justice in approximately 30 U.S. cities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Recruiter is responsible for promoting JVC, developing and maintaining relationships with college campus contacts, Former Jesuit Volunteers (FJVs) and other partners for the purpose of recruiting and supporting Prospective Jesuit Volunteers (PJVs). Although this position is remote, applicants in the (List Areas) areas will have preference. Throughout this work, the Recruiter promotes JVC’s core values-social justice, simple lifestyle, community and spirituality-in all engagement and programming. The Recruiter is responsible for relationship building and management; Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with colleges and universities, PJVs, FJVs, and other key constituents.
In collaboration with the Recruitment, Team, implement a national strategy to recruit PJVs on a year-round basis on college and university campuses:
Foster relationships and ongoing engagement (both in-person and virtually) at colleges and universities, with PJVs, key personnel, FJVs and JVC supporters:
Assist other JVC Departments and Partner Organizations with engagement and outreach support:

Salary: $42,000
