Domestic Freight Broker – Project Cargo

This job is for you if you are a self-starter who wants to advance professionally in our ever-growing supply chain industry. As Carrier Procurement Specialist, your job is to provide optimal solutions to our customers via road and cross borders throughout North America. We will harness your strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills to build lasting relationships with our carriers and customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience is necessary for consideration.
• Overall knowledge of FCL/FTL/LTL/ Oversized / Project Cargo transport mode
• Skilled in the negotiation of domestic freight transportation
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and prioritize daily tasks
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Effective and diplomatic communication skills, written and oral
• Knack for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and experience
• Love for and adaptability towards new concepts and technology
• Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office Applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Essential Job Functions

• Procure truck carriers via our online platforms and offer optimal solutions to customers
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve carrier issues in a timely and positive manner
• Maintain progress reports and improve cost and operational logistics performance
• Previous experience with oversized cargo transportation
• Travel on-site to customer locations when necessary to oversee significant projects
• Achieve daily goals while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, always challenging environment
