Title: Human Resources Specialist
Pay Rate: $26 – 30/hr.
Hours: Flexible (In Office) From home every other Monday
Duration: Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
• Process and respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding of employee
• Collaborate with support teams such as Payroll, AP and IT as related to new hires and exiting employees
• Create, issue, and track new seasonal staff agreements
• Create, maintain, and scan copies of employees’ records
• Schedule meetings, maintain agendas and take notes
• Perform orientations, assist with departmental onboarding plans
• Maintain trust and navigate sensitive issues with colleagues
• Demonstrate high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy
• Issue and manage employee building access badges
• Assist with payroll
• Assist with HR projects

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred
• 1 – 3 years of relevant HR experience
• Ability to handle sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, remain organized and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• Self-motivated; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and pivot focus of responsibilities in a smooth and efficient manner
• Service Oriented, collaborative, and proactive.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members
• Must be a Team player
• Knowledge of Federal & State regulations
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required
• Knowledge of Workday, UKG, ADP is a plus
• Other duties as assigned
