Responsibilities:
Responsible for our bi-weekly employee newsletter that goes out to all park Associates.
Responsible for Dominion Details, our monthly pocket guide that keeps all Associates up to date on what is happening with the park that week.
Responsible for creating and updating content for FUNtv, our Associate news channel screened in back area locations of the park.
Responsible for managing our Dayforce HUB and SharePoint pages to serve as communication touch points and resources for our Associates.
Will assist and often lead in the designing and rolling out communication pieces and items as needed by either the park or the Human Resources team.
Evaluate effectiveness of communication strategies and develop communication plans to engage Associates.
Will assist with our HR social media accounts including the design and planning of content for those channels.
Assist in other areas of the Human Resources division as needed as well as in the park if the business requires.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of related and relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Prior theme park or service industry experience a plus.
Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Experience in writing content for print and online media.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign preferred.
Familiarity with video editing software.
Flexibility with scheduling and an ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to provide exceptional service when interacting with Associates, coworkers and others.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently of constant supervision.
Ability to work in fast-paced and rapidly changing office/theme park environment.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
