Our HR Coordinator coordinates human resources activities primarily related to administrative compliance with federal, state, local, and client company policies. This includes maintenance of new hire onboarding materials and systems to manage required employee certifications and trainings. The HR Coordinator is responsible for direct communication with clients and their employees to ensure proper, complete, and timely execution of new hire paperwork and trainings, and give warnings when parties fall out of compliance. Human Resources generalist duties and other tasks may be assigned as time permits and business needs arise.
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent three years related experience, or SPHR/PHR certification and equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
· 2-3 years working in human resources or in a customer facing role with administrative duties
· 1+ year as a staff member or 6+ months as a manager or administrator in a restaurant or hospitality setting
APPLICATIONS KNOWLEDGE
· Microsoft & Google Suite (Excel, Word)
· Prior use of a Customer Response Management (CRM) system (preferred)
· Prior use of an employee data management system (preferred)
